Happy Feet (John Powell)
Over the Hedge (Rupert Gregson-Williams)
Ice Age 2:  The Meltdown (John Powell)
Tales of Earthsea (Terashima Tamiya)
Arthur and the Invisibles (Eric Serra)

Winner::

Arthur and the Invisibles (Eric Serra)

Nothing short of a double surprise here.  With some 17 animated feature films released in 2006, including Pixar's CARS, MONSTER HOUSE, and HAPPY FEET, the score for the late-year entry, ARTHUR AND THE INVISIBLES, takes home the e-hardware.  The second surprise?  This award-winning score was produced by one of the most maligned composers on the internet, Eric Serra.  Perhaps he will get a bit more "love" from here on out.
