STARDUST BY ILAN ESHKERI
With 2007 efforts like Pirates of the
Caribbean, Ratatouille, and I Am Legend, it is very unlikely anyone
would have guessed AT another win for ILAN ESHKERI's STARDUST.
Not only that, but who have guessed that a win in this category would
make it the fourth Cue Award for the film and composer in 2007.
The score adds "best in film" to:
Surprise of the Year,
Best Cue in Film for
the Shooting Star sequence, and Eshkeri's own award for
Breakout Composer of
the Year - awarded almost solely for his work on STARDUST.
STARDUST has won 3 out of 4 soundtrack awards it has been nominated
