LAIR BY JOHN DEBNEY
2007 was certainly one of the best years for
video game music yet. Thus making this year's Cue Award for the
Best score for a Video Game one of the most competitive of all the
categories. Composer JOHN DEBNEY's score for
LAIR comes out on top. The score certainly isn't 100% original
but the Debney's inspiration and implementation of both the style and
technique of a John Williams and Miklos Rosza made LAIR a very
entertaining listen. Even though the exlusive Sony Playstation 3 title
didn't fair as well as Sony had hoped, JOHN DEBNEY's score stands
perfectly well on its own and has proven to be one of 2007's better
listens of any category. |
