SPIDER-MAN 3 BY CHRISTOPHER YOUNG
Danny Elfman's SPIDER-MAN music has become a favorite among fans of
both the movies and of the composer, but for others, the
previous two Spidey-scores were mediocre at best. After composer Danny Elfman
dropped out, the musical score for the third installment was left in
the capable hands of CHRISTOPHER YOUNG. The
introduction of YOUNG to was an injection that some thought
would bring new life to the franchise. Unfortunately, Young's
score suffered on three-fronts: the worst of the three films, having to adopt to
another composer's established music, and then all of his efforts not seeing an official score
release. Perhaps somewhat unfairly, Spider-Man 3 still garners the sad distinction of
Disappointment of the
Year. |
